First week in the books

First week in the books

It's crazy to me that I was packing boxes in the back of a UPS store a week ago to starting my new internship as an implementation consultant at Wilmington's hottest new startup, Ohanafy. I won't lie, I was nervous before my first day, and I didn't know what to expect, but as soon as I walked through the front door, I was greeted with smiling faces and a team excited to have me. Soon after that, our CEO Natalie Waggett, arranged a one-on-one meeting with me to tell me all about Ohanafy.

Now keep in mind I am still new to the corporate world, but how many people get to meet with the CEO personally on the first day? In our meeting, I assumed Natalie would just give me a rundown of what I was going to be doing for Ohanafy. Instead, she broke down the importance of what Ohanafy stands for "Family", and the forward-thinking culture her team wants to bring to breweries. Natalie went on to explain the astonishing growth and accomplishments the company has achieved over the past few months. Natalie wants me to grow with the company and see's the potential I can bring to Ohanafy. Let's just say, after the meeting I was ready to run through a brick wall. Ohanafy stands for so much more than any other software company. The whole team truly cares about their work and ensuring their customers' success.

Surprisingly enough, going into this position, I only knew a little about Salesforce before starting with Ohanafy. But I did know that the whole team at Ohanafy was obsessed and knowledgeable. What's the big deal? I thought. Well, it didn't take long for me to figure it out. Salesforce offers organizations a platform with a wide range of features that enable you to properly connect your business's numerous core processes so that your customers are satisfied. Right away, our head of customer success, Matt Keeter, had me learn the ins and outs of the platform and how Ohanafy has developed a system that gives breweries endless capabilities. From tracking inventory, monitoring production, and enhancing sales. That's only the tip of the iceberg of what Ohanafy has to offer!

Now I couldn't go without saying how great the team at Ohanafy is from top to bottom. Natalie brings the energy we all need and more to push us to our very best potential every day. She has a strong vision for Ohanafy to reach heights that have never been achieved in the craft beverage industry. Matt, who I will be working with directly, works hard every day to ensure his customers' success. Matt has a bright vision for me and has worked closely with me to ensure that I have the right tools to be successful with Ohanafy.

You can't say enough about the team at Ohanafy. They all believe in our product and work with purpose every day. Work aside, they also know how to have fun! I look forward to breaking some ankles when we hit the basketball court.

Overall, in just my first week, I can say I love and respect Ohanafy and what our company stands for. Our goal is to ensure our customers are successful. We will continue to work hard every day so your business can reach new heights.
