The announcement

WILMINGTON, NC — Ohanafy, the agentic beverage operating system, announced the appointment of Royce Nobles as Chief Architect. In this role, Nobles joins the product organization and will own platform architecture across all Ohanafy products.

“Royce has already built the hard version of this once,” said Ian Padrick, Chief Executive Officer at Ohanafy. “He spent years as the architect behind a Salesforce-native platform that an entire industry runs on. That is exactly the experience beverage needs right now. We are moving fast, and architecture is what decides whether fast stays fast at 10 times the scale.”

Two decades of architecture leadership

Nobles brings more than 20 years of enterprise software experience, with the majority spent on architecture leadership rather than individual systems. He spent seven years as Director of Architecture at nCino, where he held technical ownership of the core system, integration architecture, and the standards the product organization built against. Most recently, as Principal Architect at Athian, he led design of scalable, secure cloud architectures on serverless infrastructure, work that extends past the Salesforce platform and into the foundation an agentic system depends on.

Why architecture matters now

The hire comes as the industry’s technology expectations change faster than its systems. Suppliers and wholesalers are moving past reporting toward platforms that act on their data, and that shift puts real weight on architecture. Enterprise operators running on Ohanafy move millions of cases a year across multiple facilities and state lines, and the platform must hold up under that volume while agents work against live data.

The mandate ahead

As Chief Architect, Nobles will set the architectural direction for the full platform, including how data moves between products, how integrations are built and maintained, and how the agentic layer performs at enterprise scale. His mandate is to make sure the decisions made now hold up against the size of the operators Ohanafy serves next.

“I’ve spent 25 years in software and the last 15 as an architect, most of it taking industry-specific platforms from their first enterprise customer to tens of thousands of users,” said Royce Nobles, Chief Architect at Ohanafy. “Ohanafy is at exactly that inflection point, and my job is to make sure the technology scales as reliably as the relationships this industry is built on.”

Nobles’ appointment reflects Ohanafy’s continued investment in the technical foundation required to support enterprise-scale operations. As the platform expands across suppliers and wholesalers, architecture becomes the difference between adding products and building a system that holds together.
