ABOUT THE ROLE

Ohanafy is entering an important growth chapter, and we’re looking for a Videographer / Documentary Content Lead to help us document and tell that story.

This role is focused on capturing the real, behind-the-scenes journey of a fast-growing technology company. The people, the process, the challenges, and the wins. Through a high-quality, episodic video series. This is not about one-off marketing videos. It’s about building a thoughtful, long-form narrative that evolves over time and can be shared across the industry.

This is initially a part-time role with flexible hours and regular travel, with a clear path to becoming a full-time position for the right person.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Documentary & Video Production

  • Own the end-to-end production of a multi-episode documentary-style video series
  • Plan, film, and edit content that tells a cohesive story over time
  • Travel to the Ohanafy HQ, customer locations, and industry events to capture footage
  • Film on-site operations, meetings, and real working moments as they happen
  • Conduct interviews with executives, operators, engineers, and frontline team members
  • Capture both structured interviews and candid, unscripted moments

Creative Direction & Storytelling

  • Help shape the overall narrative arc of the series. What we capture, when, and why
  • Decide when to step in with direction and when to let moments unfold naturally
  • Work closely with leadership and marketing while confidently calling the shots on creative execution
  • Ensure the content feels authentic, human, and polished

Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit all footage yourself and deliver finished episodes ready for distribution to Ohanafy social media channels and more
  • Create a consistent visual and storytelling style across episodes
  • Handle color, pacing, audio, and music selection to elevate production quality
  • Organize, store, and manage footage and project files independently

WHO YOU ARE

  • A confident, self-directed videographer who can own projects end-to-end
  • Comfortable interacting with senior leaders and professionals while making them feel natural on camera
  • Personable, calm, and professional in fast-moving or high-visibility environments
  • A strong storyteller with an instinct for moments that matter
  • Comfortable traveling as needed and working around evolving schedules
  • Someone who can balance creative vision with business context

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Proven experience producing and editing documentary-style, brand, or long-form video content
  • Strong editing skills using tools such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  • Experience running shoots independently
  • Comfortable conducting interviews and directing non-actors on camera
  • Ability to manage projects independently from concept through delivery
  • Own most of your own professional video equipment (camera, lenses, audio, basic lighting)
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

NICE TO HAVE (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

  • Experience working with B2B, SaaS, or technology companies
  • Experience producing episodic or serialized video content
  • Photography skills for supplemental content
  • Light motion graphics or animation experience
  • Experience filming in operational or real-world environments (offices, warehouses, field work)

EQUIPMENT

  • Must have access to professional-grade video equipment
  • Ohanafy is open to investing in additional gear as needed for the right setup

WHY THIS ROLE IS SPECIAL

  • You’ll have creative ownership and influence over a long-running content series
  • You’ll document real moments, not staged productions
  • Your work will be used for brand storytelling, recruiting, and industry visibility
  • You’ll work closely with leadership and have visibility across the company
  • There is a clear opportunity for this role to grow into a full-time position

COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE

  • Part-time, flexible engagement to start
  • Competitive hourly or project-based compensation based on experience
  • Travel expenses covered
  • Opportunity to expand into a full-time role as the company and content program grow
