Software Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Software Engineer, you'll help further Ohanafy's mission to transform the beverage industry through the development of our core product built on Salesforce. We are looking for an individual with a go-getter attitude who is curious about emerging technologies. Including AI-assisted development and agentic workflows. You'll help continually improve and enhance our product while exploring how AI and modern tooling can accelerate our development velocity and product capabilities.

REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years' experience
• Strong programming skills in Apex and JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience building modern UI components (e.g., Lightning Web Components, React, or similar)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Adaptable problem solver who can navigate unfamiliar challenges without a playbook
• Deep technical curiosity. The kind of person who digs into how things work, not just how to use them
• Self-directed learner with genuine interest in AI/ML, agentic development patterns, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot)
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup where priorities shift, ambiguity is normal, and you'll wear multiple hats
• Clear communicator who can work across technical and non-technical teams

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ship features that real beverage companies depend on daily, building on Salesforce with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and modern JavaScript
• Own features from concept through delivery, contributing to ideation, development, testing, and ongoing maintenance with guidance from senior team members
• Use AI-assisted tooling to accelerate coding, testing, and code review workflows
• Explore and prototype agentic AI patterns that can enhance the Ohanafy platform and customer experience
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration) to support code quality and confidence in releases
• Provide thoughtful code reviews and participate in design sessions, bringing ideas and solutions to the table
• Support Sales and Professional Services with product demos and customer implementations as needed
• Contribute to technical and product documentation
• Learn the Salesforce platform, the Ohanafy Beverage Operating System, and the beverage industry

DESIRED

• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
• Experience building or integrating AI-powered features, or working with LLM APIs and agentic AI workflows
• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch) or other major cloud platforms
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps patterns (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, automated deployment workflows)
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks and a desire to grow test-driven development habits
• Agile software development experience
• Passion for software development and a genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping the craft
